Errors initializing the video subsystem or video memory

Explanation:

 The BIOS is unable to properly access the video system, either to initialize it, test it, test its memory, or write something to the screen.

Diagnosis:

 This is usually caused by a problem with the video card, or the memory on the video card. It can also be a motherboard issue or a memory problem.
