Online Technical Resources

This section contains a list of additional online technical resources that you can use to find more information in various areas, to supplement what is on this web site. I don't have to tell you that there is a wealth of useful information on the Internet, and not just on the World Wide Web. The links and references in this section should help you access pretty much any type of online information you may need that is related to PC hardware.

I have the world-wide web links broken into two groupings--general information and component-specific information--so you can decide if you just want to explore or if you want to find information on a particular topic quickly. All links in a given section are listed alphabetically (well, to whatever extent that is possible given the different ways that you can name a site).

Note: The presence here of a link to any web site does not imply any endorsement of the web site, its contents, opinions, or any products or services that it offers. Obviously, I will not put a link to a site that I don't think is good, but the presence of a link doesn't mean that I think you should buy what is on the other site, for example. In particular, I want to point out that I have some references to well-known PC component manufacturers; I have chosen these a great deal based on my opinion of how useful the information that they have on their sites is, and this does not imply that I think their brand of (whatever) is necessarily what you should buy.

Note: If you have a site that you think should be listed here, please let me know and I will check it out and decide if I want to post it. I will be the sole judge of what I choose to link to the site. On the converse, if your site is being linked by me and you do not wish this, please let me know and I will remove the link to your site immediately.
