If the warranty is important to you, you need to investigate the company's warranty implementation policies, both by asking the company questions, and by using independent research tools. Here are a few questions related to warranty service that you may want to ask:
I want to emphasize that if you are being thorough, you really want to find out how happy the manufacturer's customer base is with their warranty service overall. It's a good start to have policies that are sensible and well-intentioned, but some companies don't do a great job of translating this into action.
